JavaPureCheckJavaPureCheck, an important part of the 100% Pure Java Certification process, enables you to test your Java programs for portability problems. JavaPureCheck discovers potential problems that your program might encounter when running on a different implementation of the Java platform. JavaPureCheck checks specified classes against a rule base that defines portability concerns. Any class that does not meet these rules is flagged with the specific portability problem found. Best of all, JavaPureCheck tests run identically on all platforms; write tests once, run tests anywhere! JavaPureCheck, version 2.1, provides an improved user interface, improved performance, better integration with the JCRPT checker, better filter for string constants, and JAR file handling now accepts Java programs in JAR files. Be sure to read the JavaPureCheck documentation before getting started. The program is available in the following formats: |
